An Upstate New York man has been arrested after allegedly sending a violent threat to a holiday event.

WROC reports Michael J. Keitz, 56, of Canandaigua, was taken into custody at the Ontario County Jail on a charge of making a “terroristic threat.” Keitz is accused of emailing the Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum, threatening violence and forcing the museum to cancel its Christkindl Dinner Dance.

Police said investigators identified Keitz after tracking IP addresses linked to the email, including one from a local library and another from a nearby hotel.
