Ulta Beauty, the largest cosmetics retailer in the U.S., is ending its partnership with Target. An announcement from the company says the brands mutually agreed to end the Ulta Beauty at Target shop-in-shop partnership that launched in 2021.
The partnership led to Ulta operating standalone stores inside of Target locations throughout the U.S. and offering products for sale on Target’s website. While Ulta didn’t announce a specific date for when the locations will close, the company says the agreement concludes in August 2026.
Consumers will continue to earn Ulta Beauty Rewards on eligible Ulta Beauty at Target purchases until the end of the partnership.
