Flames tore through a structure on Rt. 213 in Rifton on the night of November 10, drawing a massive emergency response as firefighters from multiple departments battled to contain the fast-moving blaze.

Fire crews arrived to find the building fully engulfed in flames. Chief Peterson directed an aggressive response aimed at containing the blaze and preventing it from spreading.

No one was inside the structure at the time, and there were no reported injuries to civilians or emergency personnel.

Given the intensity of the fire, Rifton Fire Department requested mutual aid.
