Court records show that Roberts’ attorney requested the delay, and a federal judge approved the motion without objection.

The new schedule sets the trial to begin on March 2, with pretrial motions due December 15.

ICE arrested Roberts in September and said he had a gun, knife and $3,000 in cash in a Des Moines school car.
