Michigan’s football team has added another linebacker to its 2026 recruiting class.
The Wolverines flipped Flowood (Miss.) Hartfield Academy three-star Kaden Catchings from South Florida on Tuesday, giving them their second new linebacker pledge in a week.
Tuesday was the second time the 6-foot-2, 220-pounder changed his mind about his college decision. He flipped from Liberty to South Florida on Oct. 23. Ole Miss is Catchings’ only other listed Power Four offer.
According to the 247Sports Composite, he is ranked as the No. 1,377 overall prospect and No. 109 linebacker in the country.
His commitment comes on the heels of a visit to Ann Arbor for Michigan’s Nov. 1 game against Purdue. He becomes the third linebacker pledge this cycle and 25 th overall.
