Two deaths that are under investigation by the Lubbock Police Department are currently believed to not be criminal in nature, the department announced in a news release Tuesday.
The first of the two deaths, which are not believed to be connected, was reported at 8 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Milwaukee Avenue. The nature of the death was not released.
The second occurred around 1:12 p.m. Monday in the 9000 block of Juneau Avenue. A separate news release stated police officers were called for a report of gunshot wound. The person was pronounced dead upon police arrival. Police by Tuesday had not released additional details about the people who died or the circumstances of either incident.
