Boise State is looking for a rebound win against San Diego State on the road Saturday after an embarrassing loss at home to conference rival Fresno State.
San Diego State and Boise State sit at the top of the Mountain West with both teams tied 4-1 in conference play and coming off of their first conference losses of the season. According to betting odds, the Aztecs are actually favored to beat the Broncos by at least a field goal.
Boise State will be without starting quarterback Maddux Madsen against San Diego State. Madsen went down early in the game against the Bulldogs with a lower leg injury. Madsen returned to the sideline later boasting a boot and crutches.
