The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is asking for any witnesses or individuals with video footage of a pedestrian collision that took place on October 27.

Shortly after 7 p.m., Edmonton Police officers were on call for service as they were travelling southbound on 97 Street and approaching the intersection of 115 Avenue. As the service vehicle crossed the intersection, a 29-year-old female pedestrian was struck.

Police say that the woman was not in a marked crosswalk at the time and was crossing the south side of 97 Street underneath a designated overpass at 115 Avenue.

Police stopped to request EMS and administered first aid to the woman. Upon their arrival, EMS treated and transported the woman to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries. The female is still in hospital and
