A man was arrested at the TESO Life store in Federal Way after he allegedly pulled out a knife after an employee accused him of stealing.
At about 5:26 p.m. Nov. 9, a 30-year-old man was arrested at the TESO Life store, 32015 Pacific Highway S., and charged with the Federal Way municipal code charge of “menacing.” According to Federal Way Police Department Cmdr. Bryan Klingele, the charge stems from the man allegedly concealing merchandise in his pockets, and an employee subsequently confronted him.
Klingele said that when an employee confronted the man and asked him if he had anything in his pockets, the man took out a knife, which alarmed the employees. Klingele said the employees then called 911, but no one was hurt.
