BARNWELL, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Barnwell County will reissue 2025 and 2026 property tax bills after discovering a millage rate error that resulted in property owners being overcharged.

The county said bills mailed to property owners did not include the rollback to the millage rate.

The error caused property owners to pay more than intended.
