An urgent 'call 999' alert has been issued by police over a 14-year-old girl who has been reported as missing.

Holly Miller was last seen at around 6.15pm on Wednesday (November 12) in the Bootle area of Merseyside. An investigation has now been launched with efforts ongoing to trace her.

Merseyside Police said Holly, who also has links to Liverpool and Manchester, was last seen wearing a black jacket, brown leggings and a top with grey Nike trainers.

She is described as being around 5ft 4ins tall and of a slim build. She has shoulder-length mousey straight hair and brown eyes.
