LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
There was plenty of excitement in the air Tuesday night after No. 12 Louisville beat rival No. 9 Kentucky at the KFC Yum! Center.
So much excitement that Louisville head coach Pat Kelsey left the arena with a minor injury.
Kelsey suffered a dislocated finger after celebrating the win with his team.
"We go in the practice gym and all the coaches are in there, and that's where we meet before we go in and see the team and we hug it out and we do all that stuff all the time. Well, as soon as I walked in, those guys just start running at me and chase me. So like, you know, I was doing the, you know, when a guy gets a walk off home run some time and everybody mobs him and he just runs around the field," Kelsey said. "So I'm like, now I can move.
