LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A judge has issued an arrest warrant for a woman after a Pitbull was found neglected over the summer, according to Lexington-Fayette Animal Care and Control.
The warrant is for Aasia Perry, who they believe to be the dog’s former owner.
The dog, named Sunday, was found locked in a crate, and was underweight, dehydrated and covered in her own feces, Lexington-Fayette Animal Care and Control said in a Facebook post.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect is asked to reach out to animal care and control’s cruelty investigator through the phone number 859-255-9033 ext. 299.
People with information can also reach out to the police.
