Louisville Metro Government officials have proposed stricter rules for massage parlors to combat human trafficking — a move that's drawn mixed reactions from local massage therapists.
The proposal, introduced by Metro Councilman Jeff Hudson , would create several regulations for massage therapy facilities in hopes of rooting out fraudulent businesses. While many licensed massage therapists support the ordinance's goals, some worry about the potential impacts on their practices.
