A teenager who died in a two-car crash in the Highlands has been pictured for the first time as tributes pour in. ‌

Ruben MacDonald, 18, tragically passed away following a crash with a white Ford Transit van while he was a passenger in a black Ford Focus on Monday November 10. ‌

Emergency crews rushed to the scene just south of the Cromarty Bridge, Alness, at around 9.40pm. ‌

Ruben was rushed to hospital where he sadly died a short time later.

The other occupants of the Focus, an 18-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man, were also raced to hospital where the man remains in a serious but stable condition and the woman continues to receive treatment for serious, non-critical injuries .
