A new CCTV image has been released of a fisherman who vanished earlier this week from Cumbernauld. ‌

John Miller, 48, was reported missing at around 5pm on Monday, November 20, from the Millcroft Road area of the town. ‌

Police Scotland have now published a CCTV image of a man wearing the clothing that John is understood to have been wearing at the time of his disappearance . ‌

He was last seen wearing a blue tracksuit and grey trainers - the same as the man pictured.

John is described as being white, of medium build, 5ft 6ins in height, with brown hair, brown eyes and tattoos - including the name Karen on his arm.

Following enquiries, police believe that John has links to the east end of Glasgow and could have travelled to the city
