BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - During this month’s Democratic Charitable Day of Action , the Warren County Democratic Party organized a food drive for Kentuckians missing meals in the Republican cost-of-living crisis.
“As Democrats, we did what Kentucky Republicans in Congress refused to do: take action to feed families,” said Warren County Democratic Party Chair Dr. Patti Minter, in a release. “No child in Kentucky should be missing meals — not because of skyrocketing grocery prices and not because of an illegal attempt to shut down SNAP for the first time in U.S. history.”
