BOISE, Idaho — As food insecurity becomes a central focus for Americans with the onset of the holiday season and SNAP benefit inconsistencies, Boise State Athletics is asking for fans to help community members in need.

The Bronco women's and men's basketball teams will host food drives for community members prior to their Nov. 14 and 15 games. People who donate on Nov. 14 will receive a free ticket to that night's women's basketball game against UC Davis at 6:30 p.m.

Donations received on Nov. 15 can be exchanged for a discounted $5 balcony ticket to the men's basketball game against Montana State at 2 p.m. that day, Boise State Athletics announced.

Donations of non-perishable items will benefit the Boise State Campus Food Pantry . Monetary donations are also accepted at the food
