Two men are in trouble with the law after a scuffle on George Street last night.

Police were called just before midnight after two men at a bar were causing issues. When staff tried to intervene, a fight broke out with one of the employees needing medical attention for their injuries.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on charges of assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm. The second man involved, a 24-year-old, faces a single charge of assault with a weapon.

The two were held for court.
