City Officials Urge Residents to Prepare for a Powerful Storm Forecast to Bring Days of Heavy Rain, Urging Safety Measures and Limited Sandbag Pickup Appointments

Heavy rain is forecast to sweep across Southern California through the weekend, prompting West Hollywood to offer free, sand-filled sandbags to residents and businesses, city officials said. The National Weather Service expects a moderate to strong, winter-like system with periods of heavy rainfall across the L.A. region.
