Fans waiting for season 7 of Virgin River to return next spring can see series actor Benjamin Hollingsworth in the new holiday film The Christmas Ring.

In theatres now, The Christmas Ring follows the story of military widow Vanessa Mayfield (Jana Kramer) as she searches for a lost heirloom ring. During her search she meets antiques dealer, Ben Miller ( Hollingsworth ), whose spouse has also died. The story follows Vanessa and Ben’s romance while it flashes back to the history of the ring, which ended up in Ben’s store after his father Howard, played by Kelsey Grammer, purchased it at an antiques sale.
