It felt more like a Friday night downtown than a mid-week industry opening.

Music pulsed from the DJ booth, prosecco sparkled in hand, and Toronto’s design insiders filled the new Cosentino City Toronto at 143 Frederick Street for a celebration that blended Iberian flair with urban sophistication.

Spanish favourites like jamón and manchego were freshly sliced at the counter while guests mingled amongst the slabs of stone glowing under soft, architectural light.

Despite the standing-room-only crowd, the showroom felt sleek and airy. I caught glimpses of the delightful, impeccable design details, such as the three-tiered countertop that echoed the fluted detailing of its base, a subtle nod to craftsmanship and form. I
