His talk, “Emerging Public Health Threats: Re-Emerging Vaccine-Preventable Infectious Diseases,” traced how pandemic-related disruptions, declining vaccine confidence, and reduced global immunization coverage have created fertile ground for outbreaks long thought to be under control.
