Glasgow road closed as police warn people to avoid the area due to fire

A Glasgow road has been closed off with police warning people to avoid the area due to a fire.

The area at Tollcross Road between Corbett Street and Dalness Street has been closed by officers.

A spokesperson for the police said: "Please avoid the area, and use alternative routes until further notice. Thank you."

A video captured at the scene appears to show a car close by to the blaze as shocked bystanders look on.
