GILFORD, N.H. —

Two people are dead and two others are injured after a multi-vehicle crash in the Lakes Region, police said.

Gilford police told News 9 that two people are dead after a three-vehicle crash on the Route 3/11 Bypass.

Two other people were injured, but the extent of their injuries is unknown, police said.

The road is closed between Gilford Avenue and Lakeshore Road. Police are asking people to avoid the area and find other routes.
