SUNSET PARK — THE BROOKLYN CHINESE-AMERICAN ASSOCIATION IS RECEIVING $920,000 IN STATE FUNDING, thanks to the efforts of state assemblymembers William Colton and Grace Lee, who is the Assembly’s Asian Pacific American Task Force Chair.

A leading community organization for Brooklyn’s Asian community, the nonprofit is based in southern Brooklyn and provides culturally responsive crime prevention and responses to anti-Asian hate incidents; adult education, early childhood education, youth programming including after-school programs; senior services, and comprehensive social services for vulnerable Chinese American and immigrant communities.
