LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - After an exceptionally warm and record-breaking end to the workweek, temperatures will start to fall this weekend but remain above normal.

A cold front will shift our winds out of the north Saturday morning, but even so we still climb into the low 60s to low 70s.

Cooling continues on Sunday with upper 50s to mid 60s.

The Lincoln Veterans Parade still looks pretty good with plenty of sunshine expected.

Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies can be expected for the weekend, but we continue to watch out for early next week as an upper-level disturbance brings rain into the area on Monday. Snow may mix in further north, but accumulations are not expected at this time. Unsettled and cooler conditions are forecast for the rest of the week.
