LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Warm and quiet weather is ahead this weekend with no real change until the middle of next week.

Southerly winds will continue to slowly increase humidity this weekend with highs reaching the low 80’s. With the humidity in place, there may be some areas of patchy fog in the morning on both Saturday and Sunday. Use caution if you’re out on the roads early and encounter those areas, but there are no weather issues expected otherwise.

Even early next week doesn’t look different. Rain chances will stay very low with highs in the low 80’s. At least this means outdoor plans will stay in good shape.

We’ll watch the middle of next week for the next chance of change. A cold front may eventually head our way from the west, though models are inconsistent on what day next
