STATESBORO, Ga. — No. 5 LSU beat Georgia Southern 118-70 in women’s basketball on Sunday in front of a record crowd of 5,322 at Georgia Southern.

Kyla Bryant (Salisbury) was the bright spot for the Eagles.

Bryant came off the bench to play 25 minutes. She made three 3-pointers and scored 18 points. She had tow rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Bryant is in her first season at Georgia Southern, after starring for two years at NC Central.
