EUGENE, Ore. – Game Day traffic in and around the area of MLK Boulevard and Centennial Boulevard has been additionally snarled by an incident involving a police pursuit of a suspect vehicle that failed to yield for a traffic stop, according to the Eugene Police Department.
EPD officials said that the incident started shortly after 3 p.m. on Nov. 14 when the driver of a vehicle allegedly failed to yield for a traffic stop. The driver then continued eastbound from the Valley River Center area on MLK boulevard and struck several law enforcement vehicles before being stopped on an overpass, police said. Authorities said that people have been detained.
