SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -If your car needs a wash, you can get one for free while helping Springfield shelter pets this weekend.

From Nov. 14-16, if you drive through the Glide Xpress Car Wash on East Sunshine and mention “Humane Society,” you’ll get a free car wash, as well as have $1 donated to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri.

The donations will provide food, shelter, medical care, and more to animals patiently waiting for their forever homes.

“You’re helping pets out here at the shelter. Plus, you get a squeaky-clean car. So it’s a win-win,” said McKenzie Palmer with the Humane Society.

The Paws and Polish fundraiser goes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
