Out-of-favour Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami has joined Lucknow Super Giants from Sunrisers Hyderabad in a trade deal ahead of the IPL 2026 auction. The 35-year-old pacer from Amroha, who has 133 wickets to his name in 119 IPL matches for five teams, was signed for Rs 10 crore by SRH in the IPL 2025 mega auction, but he could only manage to take six wickets in nine IPL matches this year.
Shami, who last played for India in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 on March 9, has joined LSG in an all-cash trade deal.
