HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas — Harker Heights punched its ticket to the area round Friday with a 28-14 win over Cedar Hill at Leo Buckley Stadium, securing the Knights’ first bi-district victory since 2022.

Harker Heights struck first when junior kicker Oakley Goins drilled a 52-yard field goal to give the Knights a 3-0 lead. The defense followed with a key third-down stop, highlighted by a tackle from Cooper Howard.
