Decide at meeting to combat proposed lignite freight rate boost

Bismarck, N. D., Nov. 14.—Lignite coal operators of North Dakota, in a meeting here tonight, decided to take active steps to combat the proposed 40 to 60 per cent increase in lignite coal freight rates, before the Interstate Commerce commission and the North Dakota state railroad commission.
