If you're looking for a new coastal walk, why not head down to the Bridgend coastline? (Image: Visit Wales Crown Copyright)
I'm going against the grain to say that autumn and winter are my favourite times for a coastal walk in Wales. It can be a quieter time to plod along scenic landscapes, and you can enjoy a hot chocolate, pub lunch, or fresh fish and chips by the sea.
If you're looking for a new coastal walk, why not head down to the Bridgend coastline on the waymarked Wales Coast Path? Along the way, you'll spot local wildlife, traverse sandy bays and find a swish cafe and a wood-fired sauna.
There are several walks you can attempt, including Rest Bay to Kenfig Nature Reserve , Trecco Bay to Porthcawl Marina and Porthcawl to Ogmore Castle .
