The result of a collaborative effort, the East Main Canal Bike Path is now home to Yuma’s first mural that comes to life with the help of augmented reality.

The community partnerships between Onvida Health, NextGen Yuma, Yuma’s Clean and Beautiful Commission, Pilkington Construction, MGM Design, and more, made the project possible.

The stretch of the East Main Canal Bike Path between 24th Street and 16th Street has been the subject of beautification discussions for a couple years now, largely thanks to community leaders Greg LaVann, president of the Greater Yuma Economic Development Corp., Yuma City Councilmember Arturo Morales and Matt Molenar, president of MGM Design).
