Four flood warnings and eight flood alerts remain in place in Gloucestershire as experts warn disruption could last several days.
The aftermath of Storm Claudia is becoming clear today (Saturday, November 15) after a deluge of rain hit the county yesterday, with more than a dozen roads still closed .
"Act now" flood warnings, which are more serious than the "be prepared" flood alerts, cover parts of Gloucester, Tewkesbury and Nailsworth. The Environment Agency advises that flooding could continue for "the next few days" as river levels rise, despite a dry weather forecast today.
Railway lines have now reopened following flooding chaos last night , although delays could be seen until midday on some services according to Great Western Railway.
