NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) - A man has been arrested after the Craven County School system reported indecent liberties with a child to the New Bern Police Department.
Police say the alleged crimes occurred this year between the months of July and September at a home in the 100 block of Evans Mill Road in New Bern.
After investigation, 41-year-old Kevin Tyler was arrested on two counts of indecent liberties with a child and one count of false imprisonment.
Tyler is currently being held at the Craven County Jail with no bond, pending his first appearance in District Court on Monday.
