GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Police say 39-year-old Alex Harding was arrested Thursday after he stole boxes of sports cards 20-30 times from three different Gainesville Walmart locations in the last two months.

Harding is a realtor in Gainesville.

Walmart Loss Prevention Officers are still gathering evidence and product information on Harding’s thefts, according to the report.

Police continue to investigate Harding’s theft but say they have so far proven five cases, captured on Walmart surveillance, in which he stole over $450 worth of sports cards from three different Walmart locations in Gainesville.

Harding was charged with scheme to defraud and petit theft and police say more theft charges are forthcoming.
