LSU football interim coach Frank Wilson shared an emotional moment during his postgame interview following the Tigers' 23-22 win over Arkansas on Saturday afternoon.
The final question in the on-field interview was what it meant to Wilson to walk into Tiger Stadium on Saturday as the interim head coach and walk off as a winner.
Wilson took a beat before looking up into the stands. He choked back tears before he buried his face from the camera again under his visor.
"Everything," Wilson said before he walked away and thanked the reporter.
Wilson is from New Orleans and graduated from Nicholls. He coached on Les Miles' staff at LSU from 2010-15. He returned to the Tigers in 2021 as one of Brian Kelly's first hires. Wilson is known as one of the top recruiting coaches in the country.
