PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Boston College women’s basketbal l suffered a 70-61 setback to Providence on Saturday afternoon in Alumni Hall.
The Eagles fall to 3-2 on the season, while the Friars improve to 2-1.
Lily Carmody led the way in scoring for the Eagles with 18 points on 5-for-8 shooting from the floor and 7-for-11 from the line. Erin Houpt came off the bench to tie a season high with 11 points, hitting all three of her shot attempts, including two from deep.
Athena Tomlinson posted a second straight game with 10 assists, while Amirah Anderson grabbed a team-best eight boards with six assists.
