As SNAP benefits come back online, Massachusetts residents are continuing to help one another.
In Waltham, a high school student set up a small food pantry on his front lawn.
The idea is to take what you need, and give what you can.
Elsewhere around the state is two brothers who have been handing out turkeys for five years in a row.
"This is the perfect way to celebrate, by giving away four thousand turkeys," said State Rep. Chris Worrell. "Giving back to the communities that raised us."
Chris Worrell and his brother, Boston City Councilor Brian Worrell, sponsored a rolling caravan that passed out turkeys through Dorchester and Mattapan.
The caravan made ten different stops.
"It's my favorite time of year and everyone can participate in it," said Brian Worrell.
