BUFFALO, N.Y. — McKinley Mall was filled with the sounds of dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs as Ten Lives Club held its Rally to the Rescue adoption event.
Rally to the Rescue brought multiple rescues from across the region to help families meet animals in need of permanent homes.
Saturday's event featured pets of all sizes and personalities, giving visitors the chance to interact with cats, dogs, and small animals in one central location. Organizers said the goal was to make the adoption process more accessible while encouraging families to consider providing a home for an animal ahead of the holiday season.
“It takes the community really coming together wanting to always adopt. Adopt don’t shop — cats, dogs, guinea pigs. Everyone deserve to find their homes for the holidays,” accord
