William & Mary closed its CAA schedule in dominant fashion with a 55–14 win over Hampton on Saturday afternoon. The victory extended the Tribe’s winning streak to three games, lifted them to 7–4 overall and 6–2 in conference play, and kept them firmly in the mix for an NCAA Playoffs berth. The program has now secured a winning record for the fifth straight season, marking its longest such stretch since the 1990s.
Hampton struck quickly with touchdowns on its first two possessions, jumping ahead 14–0. From that point forward, however, the game belonged entirely to William & Mary. The Tribe responded with 55 unanswered points while shutting down the Pirates’ offense for the remainder of the afternoon. After surrendering the early scores, the Tribe held Hampton to just one first down over it
