On Sunday at 12:45 a.m. a winter weather advisory was released by the National Weather Service valid from 10 a.m. until Monday 1 p.m. for Southern Erie and Crawford County.
"Total snow accumulations 4 to 6 inches in the higher terrain of eastern Erie and Crawford counties with locally higher amounts possible where bands of lake effect snow persist. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph late this morning through this evening," states the weather service. "Snowfall totals will be highest across eastern inland Erie County and northeastern Crawford County with snowfall totals and impacts decreasing to the west."
