ADRIAN, Mich. — On Saturday, Siena Heights football took the field one last time. After 15 seasons, the Saints played the final football game the team will ever play - the university is slated to close at the end of the academic year.

For players, coaches and fans, it wasn't just another Saturday. It's the end of a program, and another signal of the end of a university that thousands have called home.

"It's just surreal, man," defensive end and Napoleon native Joshua Mack said. "Coming here as a brotherhood and I spent four years with these guys and I wouldn't choose any other way."

A lot of these players came to SHU expecting four years of football, not knowing their final game would also come with the end of the university.
