A suspect remains at-large after he allegedly robbed a store at gunpoint and then fled the scene in a stolen vehicle Saturday night.

According to Chicago police, the suspect got into line at a convenience store in the 1200 block of West 79 th Street at approximately 8:46 p.m. Saturday.

When the cashier opened the drawer, the suspect implied that he had a gun, jumped over the counter and stole an unspecified amount of money out of the register before fleeing the store.

The suspect then ran into a parking lot and entered a blue SUV being driven by a 33-year-old woman. The suspect ordered the woman to get out of the vehicle, then drove off from the scene, police said.

That suspect remains at-large, and Area Two detectives are investigating.
