PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police are investigating a shooting in the city's East Germantown section.

It happened near the 4800 block of Stenton Avenue just after 9 a.m. Sunday.

According to police, an adult female was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle.

Her condition is currently unknown.

Police have not been able to locate a crime scene.
