But did you know it’s also known to some as “No Nut November,” an internet challenge where mostly men attempt to abstain from sexual gratification.

A new study discovered that it’s not just this month but all the months when adults are not having sex.

Joi AI, a chatbot app that focuses on virtual companionship, surveyed 1,000 adults and found that people are having less sex, feeling emotionally disconnected and turning to digital substitutes for intimacy.

One in five respondents admitted to not having sex in a year, while one in seven said they haven’t had sex in two years. Another 6% revealed they’ve never had sex.
