5 N.J. counties under a wind advisory until 1 a.m. Monday

On Sunday at 2:12 p.m. a wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until Monday at 1 a.m. for Passaic, Hudson, Bergen, Essex and Union counties.

The weather service adds to be ready for, “West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” comments the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects.”
